Designed and constructed in the mid 1980s, 9449 Ellerbe has served as the spiritual home of the All Souls Unitarian Universalist congregation since 1987. It’s presence long predates the explosive development in what has become the heart of the south town center located directly northeast of the Kroger Marketplace and the under construction Forbing YMCA. The property encompasses nearly 8 acres situated directly northeast of the Kroger Marketplace and the under construction Forbing YMCA. With love as their doctrine and service as their prayer, the congregation has imbued the property with the highest positive vibrations over the multiple decades of occupancy. While the property could continue as a worship center for a larger congregation, it could also be redeveloped for other alternative uses such as a performing arts center or other well suited project to serve residents in this new town center.
